Hi I’m Howard Witzenburger:

I started in electronics and radio in the late 50’s as a SWL’er most of my life.

Worked in electronics from the time I was 16, started out in shipping and receiving in a small electronics supply store then an electronic inspector / technician.

Was part of Apollo Program worked for Grumman Aerospace I was a member of the Grumman Astronaut Pilot Team. I worked in the LEM on the test stand with the Astronauts doing simulated testing of the vehicle.

I received my Technician License on 04/12/08 it was a dream come true.

I just received my General Class License on 05/10/08 and I am working on getting my Extra Class in July hopefully.  I have a great deal of studying to do but I plan on passing the test.

I’m running a ICOM IC- T7H handheld 2m/70cm and ICOM IC – 718 HF base and a MFJ 1778 G5RV All-Band Antenna.

I’m 64 years young I have a lovely wife named Carol and 7 children and 9 grandchildren.

I enjoy making new friends. Some of my interests are Family Time, Photography, Amateur Radio, Bible Study, Fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
