I am siuxty years old. Been on disability for 3 years because of 2 heart attacks and one stroke. Have always been interested in ham radio becaue oif a old friend.  Finally took test in 1999 and passed.  Was a truck driver, volunteer FF/EMT until stroke. Can't find a job so on fixed income.  Have beentrying to find an inexpensive hf radio, but seems people would rather break them up and sell parts. Am I missing something?  I did upgrade to general about 6 mos. ago, so I am looking despairtly for one but no one answers my e-mails. thought i had one bought out of california but lost address and can,t get person back.  Anyone out there it,s me or people really changing that much. thanks. 73 Jack  Leisure KC8MBC
