Well today is 8 June 2009.  Ok, it's not anything earth-shaking about that date, except for me.  UPS tracking states that my new Flex 5000A is out for delivery! Am I sitting on the door step waiting?  You bet, thanks goodness for laptops so I can post this as I wait.  Now if I can get the Force 12 beam back up so I don't have to use this ground mounted verticle all the time!  Don't get me wrong, it's a good antenna, after all I used it and an inverted ee to get the ARRL Triple Play Award in only 15 days!  With my luck I will get it back up in time for another hurricane to take it down. (Katrina was the last to wreck havock around here)  Ok, guys and gals, later and listen for me on the airwaves as I try to learn the ins and outs of using a SDR radio!
