I didnt get to work anything this summer. My 10 GHz rig wasnt working, but I think I'll be able to work the 2nd weekend of the 10 GHz & up contest. Have been working the satellites tho, and having a blast!
About 2 years ago I bought a little FT-817nd rig. I have about 40 countries worked with 5 watts or less, and did so in about a month's time with just a vertical antenna. My most memorable QSO was with a fellow in the Madiera Islands....
